I’m Diamond. At only one year old, I found myself without a home. The angels at Barks of Love found me dining at the back entrance of Jack in the Box. I happily jumped into the car of my foster mom who soon learned that I had little puppies in my belly. As soon as my babies were born, everyone marveled at how nurturing and sweet I am as a mom. They weren’t that surprised though because they say I am a very loving and snuggly girl. Since then my 9 puppies have all been adopted and now I’m two years old and still waiting for my forever home.
I quickly and nicely adapt to new people and situations. My foster family says that I’m very trusting, playful, and live to give kisses. You know what they say, ‘Diamonds are a girl’s (or guy’s) best friend.’ Treat me to a Jack in the Box and I will repay you in an abundance of love and kisses.

I’m Franklin, a pocket-sized Chihuahua, weighing in at seven mighty pounds. I may be small, but I have a big personality. I’m a nine year old boy, but I still look like a wee puppy. I’m housebroken, and love going out for walks with my people. While I’m Mr. Independent, I also love to be near my people, and try to keep them in my line of vision at all times. Since I’m such a small boy with a big personality, my ideal home would be an adult-only, quiet, and loving home. The lovely folks at Barks of Love are not sure how I am with other dogs and cats yet, but as long as they’re calm and well-behaved, I should be fine with furblings.
To be Frank(lin), I’m an amazing dog. Please consider filling out an application to bring me into your family. I can’t wait to meet you! (Learn more and apply to adopt Franklin here).

I am London, and I’m a petite, blonde-colored Pomeranian mix with amber-colored eyes. I’m about five years old, but still look like a puppy. I was told that a small dog will always be a puppy 🙂 I’ve never been to the great city of London, but I was told that it is beautiful. I am tiny and gorgeous enough to bring along with you on a trip to London or maybe even Paris.
Please consider filling out an application for me, and I’ll be the most wonderful travel partner and family member you’ve ever had. (Learn more and apply to adopt London here!).

I’m Phyllis, and I’m a petite Chihuahua. I’m experienced at life at the age of 10, but I’ve heard the saying, ‘You are as old as you feel,’ and I feel like a young pup. I came to the lovely humans at Barks of Love from the local shelter, and I have an unidentified issue with my skin, but with lots of tender love and care and some healthy, nutritious food, I should have beautiful, healthy skin again. I’m a chocolate-colored Chi, and I look like a tiny fawn.
I very much want a loving forever family to live out my many golden years like one of those delightful Golden Girls.
Please consider filling out an application for me, and I’ll bring lots of joy and love into your life. (Learn more and apply here!)

Hello! My name is Jackson and I’m just one year old! I’m looking for my forever family.
My foster mom tells me I’m the world’s friendliest dog, whatever that means. I had a pretty rough start… My foster mom found me in a big black trash bag on the side of some railroad tracks. My mouth was taped shut and my legs taped together. They just left me for dead. I was so relieved when my foster mom ripped that bag open and brought me home. Despite the betrayal, I love everyone I meet! I really love kids, but I am still learning some manners so a home with older children (if any) would be best. I also love other dogs! I’m living with 2 dogs right now and we play all day long. Any doggy siblings should be easygoing and tolerant. I also live with a big fluffy cat! Sometimes I chase him, but I would never hurt him. I love to cuddle, hike, eat, explore, chew, run, pick out toys at the store, and make new friends (furry and furless). I’m just looking for a family to love and protect in exchange for treats and belly rubs.
